Whether you are dining at the golf course or hosting a party in your back yard, we bring a dedication to quality food and outstanding service everywhere we go!

With over 20 years of industry experience, Cori has just the right recipe to make your event epic.  In our dining room or at one of the many catering venues here in Fallon, you can expect your meal to be flavorful and delicious.

We maintain a high standard of service no matter where we serve you.  We are grateful for your business and hope to exceed your expectations and earn your return.

Our Signature BBQ Tri Tip

Our Tri-Tip is second to none! We’ve earned a reputation for delivering delicious, tender, smoky, flavorful Tri-Tip time after time.  Where smoking Tri-Tip is concerned, the devil is in the details.

We painstakingly hand trim every Tri-Tip.  On average, this takes around 4 minutes per roast. We remove the tough silverskin while leaving the delicious fat.

Our Signature Rub is a blend of 6 proprietary spices.  From homefries to our homemade soups…that distinctive flavor probably comes from our House Seasoning.

Smoking meat can be a difficult undertaking.  Temperatures have to be just right.  Our Wine Soaked Oak provides the perfect balance of sweet, sour and dense smoke.

Our Tri-Tip is often featured in our dining room specials as well as being our most popular protein for caterings.

The Depot

The Depot Casino & Restaurant facility currently exists in the original 1907 train depot which was built about the same time as Butch Cassidy and his gang came through the area for the last time.

The community of Fallon was born during the California Gold Rush when exhausted travelers stopped along the Carson River after crossing the 40-Mile Desert, one of the deadliest stretches along the Emigrant Trail. This spot on the river was called “Ragtown” because of the clothes and blankets that were seen drying, hanging from wagons and trees. Present day Fallon is just six miles east of that early settlement.

Interest in a rail connection between Fallon and the Southern Pacific line to the west finally surfaced in 1903, and local ranchers and businessmen commissioned a preliminary survey in April of that year. Promotional and planning meetings were held during the next year and $60,000 was pledged in May 1904. Southern Pacific officials were discussing an extension east from Hazen by that time and a group of Californians were promoting the construction of an electric interurban line.
