Is the Chamber part of the City or County?
No. The Chamber of Commerce is a separate entity from any Government.
The Chamber and our local governments work closely together to create an atmosphere where business can thrive. It is the Chamber's role to represent its Members, which is largely Private Sector Businesses and Organizations. In matters concerning or affecting local business, the local Governments often request input from the Chamber and takes that information into consideration when making decisions.
As we work closely with our City, County, NAS Fallon and other organizations, we hope that you will support the Fallon Chamber so that we are able to provide a support system for our local businesses!
What does the Chamber do and why should I join?
It is the Chamber's goal to enhance our business community and to advocate and represent you, our local businesses, in everything we organize, support and promote.
The benefits of Chamber Membership are abundant and universal. Chamber Membership conveys credibility and stability to your customers and Membership will open the door to contacts that can help your business grow through referrals, networking and building and maintaining relationships within our business community. The annual business membership covers all of your employees; some of the benefits of your membership include discounted monthly luncheons, and other Chamber functions. We invite and encourage any and all of your team members to participate in Chamber events.
The Fallon Chamber is a non-profit 501(c)6 organization whose primary source of revenue is through annual memberships. We encourage you to consider joining or renewing as Members for the betterment of business in Fallon and Churchill County.
