Annual Awards Banquet
The Fallon Chamber hosts a well-attended, popular event in Fallon that recognizes, highlights and rewards our business community through Award Recognition, Product Showcasing, and Advertisement. This event occurs the first Friday of February each year as a way to thank and promote our local businesses. We are excited to have watched this event grow over the last few years and are excited to hear that our businesses anticipate this event each year as we continue to make it better!
4th of July Parade
The Chamber recognized the need for a new organization to reincarnate a parade on July 4th. Four successful years of bringing a parade to Fallon, the Fallon Chamber has created a successful event that the entire community enjoys. Businesses who have chosen to participate have repeatedly told us that it was the one of the most successful forms of advertising they’d experienced.
Employment
Businesses have increasingly turned to the Fallon Chamber as a successful and vital resource for Employment. The Chamber has been able to successfully connect multiple employable applicants with hiring businesses. As well as helping our businesses when they have a job listing, we will promote in our weekly newsletter along with our social media accounts.
Fallon Business Expo
Businesses and individuals continue to approach the Fallon Chamber to assist in bridging the gap between employers and employees, the Chamber moved forward in developing a Business Expo. Businesses are still hurting a bit and trying to keep afloat. The Fallon Chamber used to have two hiring events every year. The last one we had was in the fall of 2021. Now the times have changed, and we are going to try to keep up with that as well.
In May during Small Business week the SBA had business expos in many communities although Fallon was not one of them. I attended the one on May 8th in Reno, NV put on by the Reno Sparks Chamber of Commerce. It was an amazing event with great attendance. Of course, their convention center and community is much larger than ours though we hope that ours will be well attended also. Since the SBA was unable to have one in Fallon, the chamber decided to jump in and have one on National Chamber of Commerce Day. Wednesday October 15, 2025. We are asking our Fallon Chamber members to contact the chamber with the information needed to attend this expo. FREE to all chamber members though there will be great sponsorship opportunities.
